I did another shoot for the Little Redheads Across America book this weekend - this time there were 11 kids to photograph in 2 hours!  It was definitely fast paced, but I think we got some awesome stuff!

Don’t worry, this session was actually a lot of fun - she only cried for a minute or two before being cheerful again. I love that about kids, they switch moods so easily! You never quite know what you’re going to get. Her sister was a great little model, too - and mom was very helpful when I realized I’d locked my keys in my car after the session (Ooops! But good work to AAA for being there in about 15 minutes!)

This little girl was so much fun! She showed me her bubble machines (yes, she has two - a girl after my own heart!) and she danced to the Doodlebops music (pink wig and all!) Mom and Dad got involved too, so it was just a fun family shoot.

Laura & Blair are such a great couple - we got along wonderfully from the moment we met, and their wedding was a fun, emotional day - I think every person there must have cried at least once!  Annandale Country Club in Pasadena is a beautiful location, too - and fortunately their remodelling of the golf course was finished in time for this wedding! I had never been to the Los Angeles Arboretum before July, and now I’ve been there three times in the past month!  Toni & Brendan’s wedding is what started it all - their lovely ceremony in the rose garden was a beautiful introduction to the park.  Their reception at Twin Palms restaurant in Pasadena was great too - the restaurant’s indoor/outdoor patio was a great summer wedding choice!

Any couple who is willing to have their bridal party climb all over a tractor is my kind of couple!  Tiffany & Luke’s wedding at Calamigos was a fun, musical affair - they had several friends and family members sing and play instruments during their ceremony, which made it really sweet and personal (it helped that everyone was really talented, so the music was great, too!)

Yesterday I did a photo shoot for a book called Little Redheads Across America - it will be an awesome photo book containing photos of (you guessed it) red headed kids from all over America. The author contacted me asking if I would be willing to help photograph some of the kids from the L.A. area, and as a redhead myself, I could hardly resist We had 5 families that came to the park for back-to-back shoots (and a cool group shot at the end!) It was so cute seeing all those red heads running around the park!
