These little girls were so sweet - and their puppy, Bella, was so well behaved! Dogs can be fun in a portrait session as long as they are calm, and this darling was the perfect model!

This family braved the 100 degree weather recently to do some photos at their home - and in this cool looking tree!  The kids were so cute - you may recognize the little boy from my first redhead book shoot, mom loved those pictures so much she wanted the whole family in on the action!

Don’t worry, this session was actually a lot of fun - she only cried for a minute or two before being cheerful again. I love that about kids, they switch moods so easily! You never quite know what you’re going to get. Her sister was a great little model, too - and mom was very helpful when I realized I’d locked my keys in my car after the session (Ooops! But good work to AAA for being there in about 15 minutes!)

Yesterday I did a photo shoot for a book called Little Redheads Across America - it will be an awesome photo book containing photos of (you guessed it) red headed kids from all over America. The author contacted me asking if I would be willing to help photograph some of the kids from the L.A. area, and as a redhead myself, I could hardly resist We had 5 families that came to the park for back-to-back shoots (and a cool group shot at the end!) It was so cute seeing all those red heads running around the park!
