All right, the award for “funnest couple” definitely goes to these two!  (Although to be fair most of my couples are really fun, so no disrespect to any of them )  First, their rehearsal dinner was on Halloween so they had a costume party - I even got to dress up but of course didn’t manage to get any pictures of myself.

Then their wedding the next day was a blast - even though they had to change the ceremony location due to rain they were totally cool about it and it ended up being gorgeous anyway (check out that blue sky, what lovely light).

They also did a hilarious nod to ‘Old School’ with these giant pictures of themselves over the head table, and the individual tables were all named after Adam Sandler movies.  Then they did a choreographed first dance that was amazing.  Seriously one of the coolest first dances I’ve ever seen - good work guys!  I had a blast at your wedding and can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures!

Yesterday morning I had the privilege of being part of Julie & David’s wedding ceremony, which took place on the balcony at Cafe Santorini in Old Town Pasadena - what a lovely location for a small ceremony like this!  It was just them, their moms, the minister, and myself, and their ceremony was truly lovely and obviously very meaningful to them.  Thanks again guys, I am honored to have been part of your day - and I hope to be doing your family portraits very soon!!

After a beautiful ceremony at Westminster in Pasadena, Lisa & Robert had an awesome reception at the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles - very swank, but also very fun!  They even surprised their guests with the greatest of all wedding songs….the chicken dance!  (which was actually really funny since they did it as a joke)

Chelsea & Brian had a lovely candlelit evening wedding at the Rose Garden at the Disneyland Hotel, followed by a lively reception in the Pavilion Room….or the Sleeping Beauty Room….they just changed all the room names at the hotel so I’m not completely sure :)  But it was lovely!

Sarah & Nick had a lovely wedding at the Surf & Sand Hotel in Laguna - with plenty of laughter and tears as well!  It was an incredibly touching wedding as Nick was in a terrible car accident a few years back so his family and friends were just overjoyed to be able to celebrate such a beautiful day with him now that he’s here and healthy!

I had never been to the Los Angeles Arboretum before July, and now I’ve been there three times in the past month!  Toni & Brendan’s wedding is what started it all - their lovely ceremony in the rose garden was a beautiful introduction to the park.  Their reception at Twin Palms restaurant in Pasadena was great too - the restaurant’s indoor/outdoor patio was a great summer wedding choice!

Any couple who is willing to have their bridal party climb all over a tractor is my kind of couple!  Tiffany & Luke’s wedding at Calamigos was a fun, musical affair - they had several friends and family members sing and play instruments during their ceremony, which made it really sweet and personal (it helped that everyone was really talented, so the music was great, too!)
